Photographer, Writer, Tea Drinker, and World Traveler

Meet & Greet

The name’s Friend, Rebecca Friend. Some call me Bones. And you’ve reached my bio on my photography website. Welcome! I’m glad you’re here.

Here’s a little about me: I love color, that’s a good place to start. My keyboard has awesome stickers on it that resemble Holi, the festival of color in India, you can pick up a matching set from @keyshorts. I am the proud owner of a rainbow hat that you’ll see me in often. I love to swim, adventure, read, write (check out @codeandquill, you’ll love them), draw, watch movies, listen to all sorts of music (@spotify) and volunteer.

I also love backpacks and fun ways to carry what you need to. I do not believe in purses. I carry a ‘The Big Skinny’ wallet and am the proud owner of an Adventure pack from @AtlasPacks. I love stickers (@redbubble) and dogs and hedgehogs. I am a firm believer that small wins matter. I love quotes, typewriters, poems (@tylerknott, @christopherpoindexter), and I get lost in the depths of Pinterest each and every time I get logged in to the site. Every time, without fail. My favorite font is Times New Roman, and my favorite number is seven. (No idea why, just a thing.)

I am an avid drinker of tea, I even have a photography mug! (And several Harry Potters mugs, I am a hardcore Potter fan, no shame.)

I am five feet five inches tall. Well, you don’t really need to know that. You’re here for photos, and I am glad about it!

I shoot with Canon products and Canon compatible products. I carry a Canon 80D with multiple lenses. I have a Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM, Canon 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM, Canon EF-S 24mm f/2.8 STM, and a Canon 50mm f/1.8 STM. You may not know what those are and that’s ok! There are different kinds of events, occasions, and necessities for each kind of shoot. So, having versatility in my equipment is something I consider essential.

I edit with the Adobe Creative Suite (such as Photoshop and Lightroom) to ensure that the memories you have of your happy days are up to your liking and around for your years to come! This also ensures that all media I use can be made into printed media, posted on social media, or given and shared on drives so that my customers enjoy their images in whatever way works best!

I’m always up for learning new things, meeting new people, and traveling to places I’ve never been before!

Feel free to send an email, DM, or message for more information, pricing or collaboration work!

Much love - can’t wait to see you soon,

Rebecca

Woohoo - Pretty Smorgasbord!

Creative Work

I love to learn new things. Whether those new things are how to change a transmission pan or how to use a special kind of sifter, I'm always open to new opportunities. Here are some different things I have learned to shoot and edit in this slider below. Enjoy. <3
